My Handbags & Totes

Evening Eeryone, I hope your Easter Sunday was a good one!! Below are pictures of some of the handbag/totes I've made. I've made several handbags, etc. but I haven't taken pictures of them. Looks as though I'll need to that soon!!

This is the front of my 'going to the hospital' tote. I haven't had to use it yet, but at least I'll be ready when I do :-):-)
.

This is the back of my 'going to the hospital' tote bag. I just love the butterflies which I embroidered on my Janome 200e. I just love my Embroidery machine!
.

I got the pattern for this tote in the 'Sew Serendipity Bags' by Kay Whitt.

Potholders, Trivets & Tissue Holders

I've made several potholders, tissue holders and trivets which I make when I need to put my MP3 player on and do some mindless quilting. I enjoy listening to books!! I'm currently listening to a JD Robb.

These were the first potholders I ever made. I got the pattern instructions from the Quilting Board.

Reversible Microwave Bowls and they can be washed.

Potholders

Tissue Holders. One day I really needed some mindless quilting!! :-)

More potholders

I made a Christmas trivet with some scraps I had.

Happy quilting!!

2 More Tablerunners

Morning!!!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. This morning I found 2 more tablerunners that I made so far this year.

Below is a picture of our Cody. We rescued him from the animal shelter 3 years ago and is a joy to have around. We also have Tiffen who is a ShihTzu who is 14. We rescued her from a puppy mill. We had a Rotty named Muncie but we lost her to cancer. We really do love our babies!! When I first snapped the picture of my scrappy tablerunner, I hadn't realized that Cody was in the picture too. He has his nose heading toward the box of Milk Bones. It must be the Beagle in him!! lolollololol!!

This is a scrappy Cathedral Window flower from Suzanne McNeil of the 10 minute block I found on YouTube.

This is one I made to use up a lot of my scraps. I didn't use a pattern and just went with my own idea.

My Tablerunners & Toppers

Morning!!

Here are some tablerunners and toppers I've made.

60"x18" tablerunner for my sewingroom wall

3d Pinwheel

5 Minute Tabletopper

I can't remember the name of this block

Wallhangings

Morning Friends, We now have snow on the ground!!! I was sure we weren't going to get anymore of the white stuff for a while, but I was wrong. I think our being in Ohio keeps us from the ton of snow falling in the northwest and even more from the northeast. We are safely in the middle!!

I realized this morning that I didn't label my wallhangings for you when I uploaded the pictures. So here goes:

1. Maze

2. Dresden (the first one I ever did)

3. Unknown block

4. Carpenters Wheel 24 inch

5. 5 minute block (go on YouTube and search for 5 minute block)

6. Another 5 minute block

7. My own 9 patch squares with Christmas embroidery

8. Large Apple Core (from Missouri Star Quilt Co.)

Happy Quilting!!

Update to my Accuquilt GoBABY

Wow!! This is a fantastic addition to any sewing room!! I tried it out yesterday and it is so simple to use! I made myself some charms and triangles for a large tote I want to make. I found a Sunbonnet Sue die for the GoBABY on eBay yesterday so I'm going to make a baby quilt for my neice.

I'll take some pictures for you when I get the Sunbonnet Sue die!!!

Happy Quilting!!!

My Wallhangings

Morning Everyone, I hope your Sunday going well. Here in Ohio it's rather dreary outside, but I'm in the mood to quilt, so the sun is shining!!!! Ü <- My version of a smily face.

Here are a few of the wallhangings that I've made, and yes, I'm showing off a little. Ü

Accuquilt GoBaby

Morning Everyone, I hope this finds you all doing well and you are enjoying a nice Spring day! Our weeather is not Spring-like. Ugh!!! It's cold here, but at least we haven't any snow on the ground.

Some good news though...I just received my AccuQuilt Go BABY. I'm going to spend some time this morning playing with. I went to the AccuQuilt website to purchase it, but they wanted $139.00 for just the GoBABY system. That didn't include the mat or ANY dies at all!!! So I went to Amazon.com and they had the GoBABY for $90.00!!! So with the savings I was able to buy the mat and 3 dies. I spent $170.00 total. I am a happy camper. To top it off, shipping was free!!!.

I'm off to play!!! Happy quilting!!!

My Sewing Room

Afternoon!!! My sewing room is considerably smaller than most. Hubby and I live in a 2 bedroom mobile home, with one of the bedrooms turned into an office space. We share the space, but for some reason, my sewing area has taken over. He is such a good sport about it!!

MyJanome MC6500P sewing machine, my Janome 200e (embroidery machine), two shelves that holds quilting magazines, quilting books, and storage for printed patterns from the Internet.

In the picture below, you'll find storage for kits, charm packs, fat quarters, layer cakes, interfacing, stabilizer, batting, and some fabric storage. I removed the legs from an ironing board and placed it across the top of the storage boxes. Doing this also gave me a little shelf for my cutting mat and ruler, especially the ones I use the most.

Below is the rulers I have, also my scissors, rotary cutters, notions, ect.

This is the master bedroom which holds a large collection of fat quarters, shelves for fabric, quilt kits and also some of my stash. I also have a Singer Futura CE-150 which I don't use anymore and that is sitting on my 1900 Singer Treadle machine.

Below are the three cabinets hubby got me for all of my stash!

Some Photos

Morning Everyone, I've uploaded some pictures of my finished prjects (though they are only a few). I have a LOT of WIP's. (Works in Progress) :-) I only have to figure out how to get there!!! lol...lol...lol...

Love to Quilt

I really do love to quilt. It's my passion, right up there with new purses. :-) More to come!!!
